Mandy experiments with making the intangible visible. She uses atmospheres, moods or fragments of dreams as vehicles for exploration - transposing an internal ambience onto external skies and landscapes.

Her paintings physical and emotional depth supply layers of ambiguity, there are dark corners, ports, passages to new realms, emerging light and a sense of otherness within the familiar.

Oil or acrylic are her preferred mediums, dry-point etching is a recent addition.
