ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I grew up in London with access to some of the great galleries of the world. One of my heroes was and is J.M.W. Turner. His later paintings and those of the French Impressionists inspired me by their use of composition, light and colour. I have evolved my own style of impressionism using those three principles paramount. The journey is endless, the more I advance, the more I feel I'm at the beginning.
Personally I cannot imagine ever being tired of painting. I would go so far as to say that I would not feel alive if I stopped.
