ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I was trained in oils and classic art, both of which I still enjoy, but having spent most of my working life with young children under 13 years of age, I now enjoy using acrylics in a style I call, 'Through the eyes of a child'. I love the colours and simplicity of life, as viewed by children, and try to achieve a little humour also into my subjects.

I have a small home studio in North Katoomba with an open verandah that has an inspiring rural outlook. I paint mainly animals and pets for friends and family gifts and love to create large murals for childrens' rooms and play centres.
