ARTIST'S STATEMENT

It is only in recent years that I have been able to develop my interest in photography in an artistic sense, spend time in a creative sphere, and concentrate on acquiring and practising the skills of traditional photographic processes. I like to work in medium and large format and I love the absolute anticipation of a print emerging from the developer. My main focus is landscape work, both intimate and vast. I want to continue to explore the possibilities landscape holds for thoughtful interpretation as a metaphor of life.
